EDGR – Business

“Government Regulations” have now become a world wide activity. It is the legal activity of creating regulations for safety, emissions and economy. Car company failure to satisfy government regulations and consumer expectations is largely the basis for the Tort lawsuit industry. Congress writes the laws and the administration has to put them into enforceable regulations.

That leads us to "Lawyer Stories" which I have included (buried) in another section called “EDGR-Opinion”
================
It is important to convince young people in Research and Development that many experiments will not work, just so long as you keep making new (better) ones.

This is a long dramatic story. I know that Firestone willingly became Ford's goat in this affair. This is the first time I have been able to do a fictional, dramatic story. I couldn’t do this because of the conflict with employment at Uniroyal.

These are the two men who could have saved Detroit. Big-Three arrogance ignored them. Demings was ignore here. Ohno was not ignored in Japan.

That hyphen is there because I emphasized to young engineers that there are two kinds. One MUST come before the other. Experience is built on that.

This is sort of a spiritual post. It shows a way an engineer and mathematician can look at God.

This is sort of a funny one. I explain how Consumers Union, and others, work the rating systems. Young people could easily learn the system and even apply it to choosing a girl/boy friend. I really enjoyed toying with this one.

THE SHADOW OF A SEMI    This is the way the Ambulance Chasers think.

Once you got this figured out, you are ready to become a successful engineer-businessman.
